Building costs scare people off.

12 August 2008 No Comment

Due to a drastic increase in the cost of building materials some planned developments may have to be totally scrapped.
This is because the cost of the materials is eating into developers profits more and more.In certain cases they are making no profit at all.
Many private people are also being negatively affected by the increase. With their hopes of a dream home being made unrealistic by the current costs involved.
The materials most affected at this stage are timber and steel, with a noticeable increase in sand too.
So the property that is out there is going to become even more sought after. But people are always going to need somewhere to live and that means more houses are going to have to be built, one way or another.
