FNB homeloan controversy.

14 August 2008 No Comment

More controversial property news today.FNB has met with the Banking Ombudsman regarding their decision to reassess certain approved homeloans and both parties have agreed that the process will be “fair and equitable”.

FNB also wants to stress that only 0.5% of their homeloans will be reassessed. This percentage represents the amount of customers who may be negatively affected financially by receiving the homeloans and perhaps defaulting on their repayments. This may also apply to loans that are taking over a year to finalize.

Not everyone’s homeloan will be reassessed.Phew!
